The destination of the project is to give new life to a property owned by BNP Paribas Real Estate, studying a flexible and reconfigurable solution over time. The choice has been to imagine the central system consisting of entrance, stairs, lifts and connections as hub for two separate units that at each level can be used by a single occupant as well as by two separate tenants. The ground floor provides multifunctional characteristics to the entire building: the double height space lends itself to accommodate complementary and activities diversified like temporary store, showroom, restaurant, fitness.
The coverage level is dedicated to accommodate representative functions, thanks to the creation of a roof garden space equipped with ancillary service area
(sky bar).The theme of the main entrance and of its visibility has led to invest in a solution that is both gesture and function: the result is a glass portal which is spread over four levels and introduces to the interior foyer, a landmark aimed to iconify the property.The ground water is used as an energy resource for the technological aspects (free-cooling), but also as a scenic element that highlights the characteristics of the substainable restoration work, (LEED certified), by transporting the water to a large tank at the base of the building.
